Our Corporate Partners

Over the past number of years Astellas Oncology has been an ongoing  corporate sponsor of the Marie Keating Foundation’s Get Men Talking campaign. Astellas proudly supported the Foundation’s Get Men Talking microsite as well as the Heroes of Hope campaign which tells the stories of 15 men who are survivors of prostate cancer. The Heroes of Hope campaign is available to view online and also appears as on outdoor exhibition. It has visited Connolly and Heuston Station, the Aviva and hospital locations nationwide. Astellas  also kindly helped the Foundation to hold men’s health seminars around the country. Each seminar included expert speakers from oncology and urology backgrounds, cancer survivors and mindfulness experts.

For the past number of years Flogas Ireland kindly supported the Marie Keating Foundation’s BBQ to Beat Cancer campaign in the summer  where we asked BBQ heroes to turn up the heat on cancer by hosting a fundraising BBQ in aid of the charity. .

Last October was the eighth year of our pink partnership with Harvey Norman. Harvey Norman worked closely with one of their Irish suppliers to design and handcraft their 4,000 pocket sprung (5ft), hypoallergenic “Marie” Mattress for their Sleep Pink fundraising campaign in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation. Harvey Norman donated €100 for every “Marie” Mattress sold throughout September and October available in stores nationwide.

As part of  their Sleep Pink month, the mobile information units from the Marie Keating Foundation visited Harvey Norman stores nationwide, distributing information and promoting breast health awareness.

The Irish Daily Mail is a longstanding media partner of the Marie Keating Foundation. The newspaper kindly supports our events and campaigns throughout the year with complementary advertorials and advertisements, such as the annual special pink YOU Magazine edition to highlight breast cancer awareness and the work of the Marie Keating Foundation.

Through the promotional space that the Irish Daily Mail gives the Marie Keating Foundation, we are able to raise vital awareness of our campaigns and upcoming events with their readers throughout the country and we are extremely grateful for their ongoing support.

MAD Flowers have supported the Marie Keating Foundation’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month as a Pink Patron each October by designing a very special bouquet to help support the vital services provided by the Foundation. For each signature bouquet sold during the month of October, MAD Flowers donate a contribution to the Marie Keating Foundation. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Mad Flowers.

Marks and Spencer Ireland have been a longstanding partner of the Marie Keating Foundation since 2003 and have supported the Foundation raising over €2million in that period. One of the key ways that the M&S funds have helped the Marie Keating Foundation since our partnership began is to support our mobile information units and nursing service. Thanks to their invaluable support,  in 2018, our nursing team reached up to 29,039 people around Ireland, talking to them about how to prevent cancer and detect it early. M&S support means that the mobile information units can go to any school, workplace or community centre anywhere in Ireland, free of charge, to help raise cancer awareness. https://www.marksandspencer.com/ie

The Marie Keating Foundation was a recipient of a grant from  Medtronic’s Healthy Communities Fund which has enabled us to develop a new cancer prevention campaign to raise awareness of the simple steps that we can all take to reduce the risk of cancer. Our ‘Your Health: Your Choice’ cancer prevention campaign encourages people to quit smoking, improve their diet and keep a healthy weight, keep physically active, reduce their alcohol intake and be SunSmart.

Newstalk has been a longstanding supporter of the Marie Keating Foundation. The leading radio station came on board as the media partner of the Foundation’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month October campaign, carrying radio adverts around breast awareness during the month.

Newstalk also generously sponsors the annual Newstalk Christmas Lunch for the Marie Keating Foundation, which takes place in the Shelbourne Hotel each December. In 2018, the lunch raised in excess of €30,000 which supported the Foundation’s many cancer services, including our Comfort Fund, helping families who are struggling financially as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
