Metastatic Breast Cancer Day 2020 Webinar

“Cancer, Covid and that Battle”

 

 

To increase awareness of advanced or metastatic breast cancer (MBC) in this time of uncertainty and unprecedented isolation, the Marie Keating Foundation and Europa Donna Ireland invite women and families affected by MBC to tune in on the 13th October to a free online webinar, with afternoon tea, to receive expert advice on how to live well with MBC as well as connect with a community of other women on a similar journey, safely from the comfort of your homes.

 

The proceedings for the day are as follows:

 

2:00-2:10pm – Introduction and video of Aine Murphy with candle lighting by Bernie Carter

 

2:10-2:40pm  –  ” Cancer and COVID-19″ with Secondary Sisters, Laura and Nicky

 

2:40-3:00pm – “Lets declare War on these Cancer Battles” How does this make you feel? with Journalist Sarah Carey and Dr Susan Flanagan

 

3:00-3:30pm – Panel discussion featuring special guests Roisin Dunne and Mairead O’Sullivan

 

3:30 – 3:45pm – Afternoon tea

 

3:45-3:55pm – Farewell and closing remarks

 

3:55-4pm – Optional music therapy and relaxation session

 

This webinar will run from 2pm to 4pm and will cover a number of topics and issues important to those living with a metastatic breast cancer diagnosis.

We encourage you to sit back, relax, get comfortable and listen to presentations by experts in the field of Metastatic Breast Cancer and take this opportunity to ask about any questions you may have in our dedicated Q&A sessions. Full agenda with speakers to follow.
