An informal information evening for patients about breast reconstruction.

This event, hosted by the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital intends to support those women considering breast reconstruction after cancer. Things like breast and nipple reconstruction options and information for families and partners of women considering breast reconstruction will be discussed.  A private space where women considering reconstruction can meet with other women who have had surgery in a ‘show and tell’ format will also be provided.

The event will run from 7 – 9 pm on the 16th of October 2019 at the Catherine McAuley Education Centre, Nelson Street Dublin and will be run by a number of hosts, including Mr Richard P Hanson FRCSI (Plast.) Mr Robert H Caulfield FRCSI (Plast.) and Ms Shirley Potter FRCSI (Plast.) Registration opens at 6:30 pm on the day.
