Wellness Webinars

To mark International Men's Health Week this June, we are delighted to be able to offer men across Ireland the opportunity to join our free, four-week webinar series focusing on men's health and wellness.

Taking care of your health and wellbeing has never been more important. This four-part webinar series called "Connecting and Re-engaging with each other" is designed to bring men vital information and resources on how to look after their physical and mental health, from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Each week, we will be joined by a special guest speaker to explore different topics related to men's health. From mindfulness to physical activity, we aim to cover all of the major topics over the course of this very special series.

As part of our mission to ‘make cancer less frightening by enlightening’ and our response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Marie Keating Foundation with the support of Roche, are delighted to bring a six-part webinar series for cancer patients, survivors and their families looking at all aspects of health and well-being while at home during COVID-19.

We recognise that for cancer patients and survivors COVID-19 has brought with it a heightened sense of anxiety and vulnerability. Despite restrictions with social distancing and cocooning, it is imperative that we remain together as a community while we are apart and offer support and advice to anyone who needs it during this challenging time.

In developing this six-part webinar series we have tried to ensure that we cover topics across a range of subjects focusing on FAQ’s, COVID and cancer and how to stay healthy and well, both physically and mentally, while at home. We are so grateful to our sponsor Roche for their ongoing support of our work and this series and to the experts who are contributing to it for giving so generously of their time and expertise.

The six-part series is designed to be enjoyed as a series but each episode is available below to be enjoyed in your own time.

As part of our mission to ‘make cancer less frightening by enlightening’ and in response to the fantastic feedback we received from our Cancer and COVID-19 Wellness webinar series, the Marie Keating Foundation, are delighted to bring a free four-part webinar series for those who care for or support those loved ones on a cancer journey, directly to your homes.

We recognise the integral role carers play in supporting those on a cancer journey, and what a difficult and at times, isolating role this can be. In an effort to create a community of carers that can help provide support and information to help you on your journey, we created the Carer’s Webinar Series.

In developing this four-part webinar series we have tried to ensure that we cover topics across a range of subjects experienced by carers to provide support and information. Each week, our webinar sessions will be moderated by clinical psychologist Dr Eddie Murphy as well as a guest speaker.

The four-part series is designed to be enjoyed as a series and is free to register for but if preferred individual sessions can be subscribed to. Once registered for a webinar, the link will be shared with those signed up two days before the session and an on-demand version of each session will be shared after.
