October 2015 was the fifth year of our pink partnership with Harvey Norman. A percentage from the sale of all items in the Harvey Norman Sleep Pink range, which includes mattresses, divans, pillows and more, was donated to the Foundation. Some Harvey Norman staff even went the extra mile by holding pink bake sales and dressing up in pink costumes, all in the name of breast cancer awareness.
As part of Sleep Pink month, mobile units from the Marie Keating Foundation visited Harvey Norman stores nationwide, distributing information and promoting breast health awareness.
The Harvey Norman Sleep Pink campaign raised an amazing €23,000 for the Marie Keating Foundation in 2015. The Marie Keating team sends our huge thanks to all Harvey Norman staff and customers for taking part in another successful Sleep Pink campaign!

its4women have chosen the Marie Keating Foundation to be one of its charity partners for 2017. The online insurance company is working with us to help raise funds for our cancer services, as well as raising awareness for some of the most common types of cancer affecting people in Ireland including breast cancer and skin cancer.
Skechers Performance Ireland have kindly supported the Marie Keating Foundation since 2014, and have raised over €33,000 to date for our breast cancer programmes and services. Since 2014, Skechers Performance Ireland have brought out a limited edition Go Walk shoe range in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation each year. For each pair of shoes sold, €10 will be donated to the Foundation to support breast cancer awareness campaigns and survivorship programmes, which are provided free of charge to patients nationwide. The limited edition shoes are currently available at Skechers retail outlets nationwide.
The Marie Keating Foundation is delighted to partner with Glenisk which supports our breast cancer awareness and fundraising activities. Glenisk’s partnership with us has included special limited edition ‘Pink’ packs of Glenisk Fat Free Yogurt which you can find them in store now. Glenisk has also proudly sponsored the Marie Keating Foundation’s Women Mini Marathon teams in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Funds raised from Glenisk’s partnership are used to support the Foundation’s Mobile Information Units which visit hundreds of communities around Ireland each year to give free advice and support about cancer awareness and prevention.
Pigsback.com has long been a proud partner of the Marie Keating Foundation and has supported the charity in a variety of ways, including financial donations, donations of services, event support, and an employee skills and advice scheme.
Pigsback.com and the Marie Keating Foundation have come together in both October 2015 and 2016 to make our partnership even stronger by holding the Pigsback 5K and 10k in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation. This event, held in the Phoenix Park, brings together runners, joggers and walkers to raise funds for our breast cancer services. It will be held again in October 2017.

The Marie Keating Foundation has been fortunate enough to have been given a grant from the Medtronic Foundation which has enabled us to raise awareness of the simple steps that we can all take to reduce the risk of cancer. Funded by the Medtronic Foundation, our Your Health: Your Choice campaign encourages people to quit smoking, improve their diet and keep a healthy weight, keep physically active, reduce their alcohol intake and be SunSmart.
The Marie Keating Foundation’s nurses are currently holding interactive workshops and seminars with disadvantaged communities around Ireland, including Youth Reach groups, traveller groups and homeless groups. These groups are more likely to develop cancer than the general population so with the Medtronic Foundation’s support, the nursing team are holding these workshops to talk about cancer prevention and early detection.
Fairyhouse supports the Marie Keating Foundation by hosting the only Ladies Steeplechase in Ireland in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation. Leading Irish jockeys Katie Walsh, Nina Carberry and Rachael Blackmore were amongst some of the top talents that took part in the first ever event of its type in November 2015, which was proudly sponsored by Today FM.
The event was such a success in 2015 and 2016, it will now become part of Fairyhouse’s prestigious Easter Festival in April 2017.
bb’s bakers + baristas went pink with a purpose by donating 25 cent from the sale of each Mrs Pink muffin sold in October 2016 to the Marie Keating Foundation. The brand new Mrs Pink Muffin gave people a generous helping of fabulous, fruity strawberry flavours all while helping the Marie Keating Foundation’s fight against breast cancer.
Andrew Moyes, CEO, bb’s coffee & muffins, said, “All bb’s bakers + baristas cafés got involved with the Mrs Pink Muffin who, being health conscious, was made using our delicious ‘skinny’ recipe. We were delighted to donate 25 cent from every Mrs Pink muffin sold during October to the Marie Keating Foundation to support their amazing breast cancer programmes and services. We were even more thrilled when the campaign raised €14,000. Like many of our team members, I was personally affected by breast cancer when my wife was diagnosed with the disease so I hope that the funds that we raised will help prevent this happening to another family.”

Through this Fund, in 2017, you will help us to support 50 families affected by cancer in communities all around Ireland.
During October 2014, Dublin confectionary company Broderick’s produced Rocky Road in special pink packs for Ireland to consume with kind-hearted glee. 10c from every Rocky Road Bar and 20c from every Rocky Road Mini-bites Box went to the Marie Keating Foundation to raise funds for breast cancer awareness.
Barry and Bernard Broderick (otherwise known as ‘The Cake Crusaders’) started their baking careers bashing biscuits at the kitchen table for their mother Ina’s famous cheesecakes. The brothers joined her business in 1994 and went on to introduce the Broderick’s range of indulgent bars with tongue-twisting names. Broderick’s bars are available in stores nationwide and on Aer Lingus and Virgin Atlantic flights, as well as being exported to France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Japan, Scandinavia and the Middle East.
Newstalk has been a long standing supporter of the Marie Keating Foundation. The leading radio station came on board as the media partner of the Foundation’s Bra’s for Breast Cancer campaign during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2015 and 2016, carrying two radio adverts around breast awareness during the month.
Newstalk also generously sponsors the annual Newstalk Christmas Lunch for the Marie Keating Foundation, which takes place in the Shelbourne Hotel each December. In 2016, the lunch raised in excess of €34,000 which supported the Foundation’s many cancer services, including our Comfort Fund, helping families who are struggling financially as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles have been a proud supporter of the Marie Keating Foundation since 2013. To mark this partnership, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles have kindly donated a Caddy Maxi Van to the Foundation to support the vital work that the Foundation staff and volunteers do in their daily schedule.

Spirit Motor Group got behind the Marie Keating Foundation’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2014 in a unique way- they branded five brand new Volvo, Ford and Skoda cars with our Give Your Bra For Breast Cancer branding and left these cars in highly visible locations around Dublin to help us raise awareness of our innovate campaign. Spirit Motors also gave a branded car to the Marie Keating Foundation for the month to help promote the campaign.
The National Lottery has generously provided funding towards the cost of two programmes- a skin cancer education programme for schools and a grant to support the running of one of our mobile units for a 6-month period.

Astellas Oncology proudly supports the Marie Keating Foundations Get Men Talking campaign. In November 2015, the support of Astellas helped the Foundation to hold four men’s health seminars around the country, in Dublin, Limerick, Donegal and Waterford. Each seminar included expert speakers from oncology and urology backgrounds, cancer survivors and mindfulness experts.
In Novemver 2016, Astellas proudly supported the Foundation’s Get Men Talking microsite as well as the new Heroes of Hope campaign which tells the stories of 15 men who have been through prostate cancer. The Heroes of Hope campaign is available to view online and also appears as on outdoor exhibition. It has visited Connolly and Houston Station, the Aviva and hospital locations nationwide.
Flogas also kindly supported the Marie Keating Foundation’s BBQ to Beat Cancer campaign in the summer of 2016 where we asked BBQ heroes to turn up the heat on cancer by hosting a fundraising BBQ in aid of the charity.

THEYA Lingerie was founded by Ciara Donlon who realised there was a gap in the market for a specific type of lingerie post surgery. She formed Theya Lingerie with the support of Enterprise Ireland and experienced lingerie designer Kelly Lakin, who shared her desire to bring a new innovative product to market.
With the input of breast cancer survivors, they have now designed and produced a range of recovery lingerie that is specifically tailored to these women’s needs. THEYA Lingerie designs are also extremely suited to women who are undergoing radiotherapy treatment, and women who have undergone cosmetic breast surgery. THEYA Lingerie strives to offer all women who have had breast related surgery a range of lingerie that meets all their wants and needs with an emphasis on comfort, support, prettiness and functionality. They are excited to continue a close working relationship with these women as they design their other ranges.
