Support after cancer
Speaking ahead of the Waterford Survive & Thrive course, Helen Forristal, Director of Nursing Services, the Marie Keating Foundation, said, “For many, beating cancer is just part of the journey and life as a cancer survivor can take a little bit of getting used to. While your cancer treatment helps you to regain your physical wellness, the Survive & Thrive course can provide the support that you need to feel strong and well again. It will also give you the chance to meet other men who are going through some of the same things that you are, which many past Survive and Thrive participants say is one of the most important things they got out of the course. I hope as many of you as possible will sign up to take part in this free course.”
