A free seminar for people affected by skin cancer

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in Ireland. Just over 10,000 new cases were diagnosed in this country in 2013. The Marie Keating Foundation is hosting a free information evening for men and women affected by skin cancer from 2pm-4.30pm on Friday, 26 August 2016 in the Imperial Hotel, South Mall, Cork.

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with skin cancer, this event may be of interest to you. You can learn about how the disease is diagnosed and treated, where to get support and have an opportunity to meet and hear from other people who are going through and have survived skin cancer.

Hear from:

  • A consultant dermatologist
  • A specialist nurse in dermatology
  • A skin cancer survivor
  • A mindfulness expert

There will also be an opportunity at the end of the event to speak to a Marie Keating Foundation nurse free of charge about any thing to do with cancer.

Registration is essential.

This event is proudly supported by Novartis Oncology.
