Minister Frances Fitzgerald TD is inviting men, women and children to take part in the Lucan Pink Walk in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation in Griffeen Valley Park at 11am on Saturday, 17 October 2015. Registration costs €10 per person and €20 for a family. You can register below or on the morning of the event at the Lucan Sports and Leisure Centre . Refreshments will be served after the walk at the Lucan Sports and Leisure Centre and a Marie Keating Foundation nurse and mobile information unit will be on hand to give free advice on cancer prevention and early detection.

Speaking at the launch, Minister Frances Fitzgerald said, “This is a perfect event for people of all ages and levels of fitness and should be great fun for all the family. Most importantly, we will be raising funds for the Marie Keating Foundation and their breast cancer services and programmes. Around 2,900 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year and almost all of us know someone who has fought this disease so this is a good way to show our support and help make a difference during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
