Fancy owning one of Lennon Courtney’s hottest new dresses, one of Nicola Hughes’ favourite skirts or Holly Carpenter’s stylish accessories? The Spin 1038 Celebrity Sell Off in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation is giving you the chance to nab something from your favourite celebrity’s wardrobe and help the fight against cancer at the same time. The celebrity style event is taking place on www.spin1038.com from 21st to 30th September 2015 and features exclusive items donated by a range of celebrities including leading stylist Courtney Smith,  Marie Keating Foundation patron Ronan Keating and his new wife Storm and Spin 1038 presenter and model Daniella Moyles. All funds raised from the Spin 1038 Celebrity Sell Off will go to the Marie Keating Foundation which provides people in Ireland with the information they need to prevent cancer and to detect it at its earliest stages, as well as providing free support services to people already on a cancer journey. Log on to www.spin1038.com to view the exclusive celebrity items and the place a bid.

Speaking at the launch of the Spin 1038 Celebrity Sell Off, designer and Frock Advisor founder Brendan Courtney said, “We all love to see what celebrities are wearing when they are out and about but this gives people a unique opportunity to actually buy these items, and with all the funds going to support such a good cause, it’s guilt free shopping. There are some really great items in the auction, from a Karl Lagerfeld leather jacket, to a Zandra Rhodes scarf to a Vera Wang dress. Each day, there will be new items from new celebrities up for sale which you can preview on the Spin 1038 website from 21 September.”

Ronan Keating, Patron of the Marie Keating Foundation, who has donated an Alexander McQueen blazer to the Spin 1038 Celebrity Sell Off, said, “Cancer affects one in three people in Ireland so chances are someone close to you has been touched by this disease. All these celebrities have come together and literally given the shirts off their backs so that the Marie Keating Foundation can continue to offer all of its services for free. Please get bidding on your favourite items and with your help we will keep our mobile units on the road, keep giving Comfort Fund grants to struggling families and keep offering free Survive and Thrive workshops to cancer survivors.”

Daniella Moyles presenter on Spin 1038 who has been heavily involved in the campaign said “Each morning on Fully Charged, I’ll be announcing what celebrities’ items are on the auction block that day and who the lucky new owners of the previous day’s items are. I’m so excited to be involved because I love fashion and there are some amazing pieces up for grabs which I’d be tempted to bid on myself. It’s also great to be doing something in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation because all the money raised through this campaign will go towards helping to fight this awful disease. That’s a pretty amazing reason to go shopping.”

Images and videos of all the items the celebrities have generously donated as part of the Spin 1038 Celebrity Sell Off will be available to view on www.spin1038.com from 21 September 2015. The campaign will run from 21 to 30 September 2015.
